Technical Leadership

• You are a strong individual contributor who leads by example, always ready to roll up your sleeves and jump in to get things done. You’ll build clever ML algorithms in Python and run on Edge or on AWS Lambdas, while tapping into mighty out-of-the-box services to maximize the value of our IoT data.
• You’ll own the delivery of cutting-edge, data-driven solutions, lead the architecture and design of our expanding Greengrass-MQTT-InfluxDB-DBT-BigQuery-Looker data pipeline, and shape our data science methodologies. You’ll keep us at the forefront of Data Engineering, Data Science, IoT, and hardware—ensuring quality and sustainability are never compromised.

Data, Product & Strategic Leadership

• You are actively involved in shaping the roadmap of the WeMaintain products by providing a data-centric point of view on our Product-shaping activities. By offering insights on how to improve our use of data continuously to meet business objectives, you help the product team balance short-term gains with long-term investments.
• As the go-to leader for our data organization, you’ll own data quality and usage and strive to constantly reinvent how we leverage Looker as a BI tool both internally to drive our business and externally as part of our product landscape.

Technical Mastery

• You’ve got a proven track record of leading and scaling complex data pipelines (using Greengrass, MQTT, InfluxDB, DBT, BigQuery, Looker, or similar tools) in fast-paced environments. You have deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, with a sharp eye for leveraging ready-to-use services to accelerate impact.
• You’re proficient in building custom ML algorithms and deploying models in the cloud and on Edge.

Data & Project Expertise

• You have a strong command of data science methodologies and advanced machine learning techniques, especially Time Series analysis.
• You’re skilled at using BI tools like Looker to extract, visualize, and deliver insights that move the needle.
• You ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security are built into everything you do.
• You’ve overseen complex projects, managed timelines, and aligned data strategy with the company’s broader goals.

Leadership & Strategy

• You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills, and you have a proven track record of managing and mentoring diverse teams to reach their full potential.
