WeMaintain is looking for aĀ Lead Product Designer toĀ drive the design strategy and vision across our products. The Lead Product Designer willĀ collaborate closely with product managers, software/hardware engineers, and stakeholders to develop innovative products in the world of real-estate and continue to expand our competitive edge in predictive maintenance and empowerment of field engineers
š What Will Your Future Role Be?

Lead the Design Process: Own the entire design lifecycle, from ideation to execution, and including team training for the most impactful releases

Product Vision and Strategy: Work closely with the product team to define and execute the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, user needs, and design execution. Among other things, defining the vision of our new data services offering, Maximize, and how it will interact and work alongside our existing products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, software engineers and users to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business goals. Apply Shape Up principles to define project cycles, refine the bets, and maintain flexibility to adjust scope as needed.

UX Research: Conduct user research with both our internal users (field engineers, operations managers, supply managers,ā¦) and external users (Technical building managers, asset managers,ā¦), refine personas, analyse feedback, and iterate on designs to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Design Systems: Establish and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all platforms and enhance collaboration between teams.

Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating design choices and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Management & Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
š You Are the Right Person for Us If:Ā
- Experience: 8+ years in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- UX/UI Expertise: Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, user research methodologies, and usability testing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for users.
- Problem-Solving & Pragmatism: A creative thinker with the ability to solve complex user problems through elegant design solutions. Be able to find the right balance between smart design, technical contraints and business needs.
- Agile and Iterative Development Methods: You should be comfortable shaping projects into manageable cycles, working with cross-functional teams to build and test designs, and iterating rapidly based on feedback.

- Ā Interview with David and Matthieu, respectively CTO and CPO - 60 minutes
- Ā TechnicalĀ interview with Julie and Tim, respectively Lead Product Designer and VP Engineering - 90 minutes (you will need to work on a case)
- Fit Interview with the team (Product managers,Ā devs, stakeholders)
